Friday, July 11, 2008	10:00 a.m. - Noon	Sedona Shadows Clubhouse 6770 W. Hwy 89A Sedona, AZ	Board of Directors Meeting. The Board meets monthly. All members are welcome, as are prospective members. There will be an Open Forum for members to speak at the beginning of the meeting. Contact a board member to confirm the time and place.
Monday, August 04, 2008			Deadline to Register for Arizona State Primary.
Saturday, August 16, 2008	1:30 - 4:00 p.m.	Cottonwood Public Safety Building 199 South Sixth Street Cottonwood, AZ	Candidate Forum for State Senate and Yavapai County Primaries. Candidates for State Senate District 1, Yavapai County Assessor, and Yavapai County Sheriff will respond to questions from the public. (Schedule is tentative and subject to change.)
Saturday, August 23, 2008	10:00-Noon, 1:30-3:30	Cottonwood Public Safety Building 199 South Sixth Street Cottonwood, AZ	Candidate Forum for Congressional District 1 Candidates. The morning session will feature candidates from the Democratic Party and Independents; the afternoon session will feature the Republican Party candidates. (This schedule is tentative and subject to change.)

Friday, September 12, 2008	10:00 a.m to Noon	Sedona Shadows Clubhouse 6770 W. Hwy 89A Sedona, AZ	Board of Directors Meeting. Regular meeting of the LWVSVV Board. All members and prospective members are welcome. There will be an Open Forum at the beginning so that members may address the Board. Call a board member to confirm time and place.
Thursday, September 18, 2008	12:00 Noon - 2:00 p.m.	Sedona Shadows Clubhouse Room B 6770 W. Hwy 89A Sedona, AZ	Membership Meeting and Potluck. Fall meeting of the membership. Talk politics and event planning for the upcoming year. New members and anyone interested in learning more about the League are encouraged to attend. RSVP to membership@lwvsedona-verdevalley.org .
Tuesday, November 04, 2008			State and Federal General Election. To include State and Local run-offs, Federal Offices (Executive and Legislative), and ballot issues.
